About Me
As a counsellor with a social work background, I am happiest when enjoying a cup of tea and catching up with friends and family, getting lost in a good book, or exploring the outdoors through bushwalking or beach combing.
To help people gain greater clarity, confidence, and relief from whatever pressures they may be facing, I use a variety of therapeutic techniques, including Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Focused Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. Additionally, I incorporate mindfulness relaxation techniques to alleviate anxiety and distress.
My areas of expertise include working with teenagers, adults, families, parents, and those experiencing loss and grief, anxiety, and trauma. With a Master's in Counselling and training in Solution-Focused Brief Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, I have over fifteen years of experience working with young people and their families and counselling young people and adults.
I have a special interest in supporting women who are navigating work challenges, life changes, identity issues, and setting new life goals.
